Pictured above is my buddy John as he is launching off of a drop at Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs, AR. This was a day of grabbing some video footage for my client, Brandon Gore. This footage was to include some of interesting options the area has to offer if you plan on attending his Concrete Design School tucked away in the mountains of Eureka Springs, AR. In order to get the images needed I had to use a wide lens and since the forest was a bit dark in this particular spot I needed a low aperture to make sure I was able to maintain my 180 degree shutter rule. Here I am using 16mm f/2.8 to capture the environment while making John the main focus of the photo. I noticed a few key aspects when using this lens. It is very sharp, very accurate and a very versatile selection for both photo and video.

The 16-35mm f/2.8 G master lens is definitely more for the professional photographer or videographer. If you are planning on looking into the 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master lens it is definitely an investment but totally worth it, as the ROI on the images you create totally justifies the price. Below are a few more images from the day I thought showed the versatility of the lens.
